Heavy-duty steel bumpers for the most popular bakkies and 4x4s. Fitted at our workshop in Strand, or delivered anywhere in South Africa.
Front bumpers
A front bumper replaces the plastic factory bumper with steel. It protects the radiator and front end from animals, rocks and the odd tree, and gives you somewhere solid to mount a winch, lights and recovery gear.

- Winch cradle
- Sized for a standard drum winch, with a fairlead mount and room for the control box.
- Recovery points
- Plate-steel mounts on each side for bow shackles, bolted through to the chassis.
- Light mounts
- Tabs for a pair of spotlights, with cut-outs for indicators and fog lights.
- Bash plate
- A plate under the front protects the sump and steering when you drop off a ledge.

Rear bumpers
A rear bumper takes the knocks when you reverse into a rock, and moves the spare wheel and extra fuel off your load bin. It also gives you proper recovery points at the back.

- Swing-out spare wheel carrier
- Holds a full-size mud-terrain spare on a heavy-duty hinge, with a latch that stays shut on corrugations.
- Jerry can holder
- Holds a 20 litre jerry can on the swing arm, off the load bin floor.
- Tow hitch
- Keeps your tow bar working, so you can still pull a trailer or caravan.
- Recovery points
- Mounts at the back for when you need to be pulled out backwards.

Questions we get asked
Can you build for my vehicle?
Send us the make, model and year and we'll let you know.
Do I need to bring my bakkie in?
No. If you're close to Strand we can fit it for you at the workshop. If you're further away, we deliver countrywide.
Will my parking sensors still work?
Tell us if your vehicle has parking sensors or a front camera. Mention it when you ask for a quote and we'll make sure the bumper allows for them.
Can you fit my winch?
Yes. The winch cradle takes a standard drum winch. Bring the one you already have, or ask us for advice on one.
What colour can I get?
Textured black is our standard finish because it hides stone chips. Ask us about other powder coat colours.
How long does a bumper take?
It depends on the build and how busy the workshop is. We'll give you a time frame with your quote.
